From Bowness-on-Windermere

If you’re approaching from Bowness-on-Windermere, simply follow Kendal Road (A5074) through the village of Winster, past The Brown Horse, and approximately half a mile after passing the Damson Dene Hotel, turn right to Bowland Bridge. Once in Bowland Bridge, The Chase development, with its private parking, is the first group of buildings on the left, just behind the Hare and Hounds public house. No.3 The Chase is conveniently located to the left of the parking bay, with a footpath leading to the entrance gate for the cottage.

From the M6

If you are approaching from the M6 motorway, at Junction 36 take the A590 towards Barrow, Windermere and Kendal. After just over 3 miles bear left and take the turning for Barrow A590 and at the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A590. After 2.6 miles, turn right onto the A5070 signed Bowness and Windermere and straight after the Gilpin Bridge Inn turn left staying on the A5074. After about 5 miles take the left turn onto Smithy Lane down to Bowland Bridge (look for signs to The Hare and Hounds and the Masons Arms).  After about 1 mile, as soon as you arrive in Bowland Bridge, turn left into the Hare and Hounds public house car park and then right into the Chase Private car park and park in Bay number 3. No.3 The Chase is conveniently located to the left of the parking bay, with a footpath leading to the entrance gate for the cottage.
